Sisters 8 Book 7 Rebecca’s Rashness Book Review

12 Jul

You’ve read my first Sisters 8 book review (books 1-6) right? If not stop reading and go read my first review before you read this. (Otherwise this will make no sense and you will start thinking I am a crazy person.) So let me start over this book review.

Evil July                                                                                                                                                                                                   That is what seven of the sisters are thinking. For Annie, Durinda, Georgia, Jackie, Marcia, Petal, and Zinnia July is a month of Evil. For Rebecca the month of July is ‘Power Month.’ You see all of you know that each girl gets a power and gift every month and are closer to finding out what happened to their parents, (if not go and read my first review.) And this month is Rebecca’s month. But this is very scary, the eights can’t tell you how scary this is, this is so scary Petal could faint hundreds of times in ten minutes. It all started in the middle of the night or as Marcia would say “Very early in the morning.” Only seven eights were sleeping. Where’s Rebecca? Doing pull-ups on the chandelier, and drinking raw eggs and pulp from oranges. This is what Rebecca calls ‘getting ready for her power.’ What is her power? Well, I should really be saying powers. Rebecca can lift up a car with one arm and shoot fire from her finger tips. Pretty cool powers, right? Wrong, well not when it’s used for evil! The eights all knew Rebecca was evil, but to use her powers for evil? Ok, they knew all that too…but this, I’ll just tell you what she does. Rebecca uses her super strength to spin Petal  on her finger tip as if Petal was a basketball. Rebecca also used her fire to blow up the girls’ tv, dining room table, and turned the food for a party into burnt food for a party. But after a week of Rebecca being locked up in a ‘jail’ she discovers her gift. A necklace with a heart locket. Now only Zinnia needs her power and gift. Yay, she gets her present (at last.)

This book is wonderful and leaves you wondering what happens next (that is why I want to read the last book sooooo badly.) I would give it four out of four stars.
