Nancy Drew, The Secret of Red Gate Farm-A Book Review

5 Oct

In this Nancy Drew mystery Nancy and her best friends Bess and George, make a friend named Joanne who invites the girls to stay at her and her grandmother’s farm. When Nancy and her friends arrive, they have lots of fun, until odd things start happening in a cave near by. Nancy, Joanne, Bess, and George find out that some kind of group called the Black Snake Colony uses that cave often. But little did the girls know that the Black Snake Colony was really a group of criminals making counterfeit money, and some of the money even ended up in Nancy’s purse! When the girls found out what was really going on at the cave they disgised them selves to look like people in the Black Snake Colony and got into a secret meeting. Unfortunately the girls got caught, luckily they escaped and the people in the Black Snake Colony were arrested.

I liked this book a lot, it’s my second favorite Nancy Drew book following The Mystery of the 99 Steps. It’s one of the better Nancy Drews. I give it four out of four stars.
