Mimi Plays Hide and Go Seek!-A Photo Story

14 Oct

Yesterday I noticed that I haven’t done a Mimi photo story in forever, so I decided I would grab some photos of Mimi and her friends playing hide-and-go-see outside…

IMG_3689Today Mimi, Julie, Zig Zag, and Lizzie (who I made myself this afternoon with a craft kit!) are playing hide-and-go-seek.

IMG_3692Since Mimi was seeking first, she closed her eyes and began to count in a loud voice as her friends ran away.

IMG_3696“Oh! I don’t know where to hide!” Lizzie fretted, looking around frantically. “Um…maybe I’ll blend in!” She exclaimed as she plopped down in the grass and tried to stay as still as possible even though her vibrant pink color could be easily seen from faraway.

IMG_3697Meanwhile, on the other side of the yard, Zig Zag was looking around for the perfect place to hide. “Hmmm…I’ll just stay behind this tree. It’s very comfortable.” He decided with a shrug.

IMG_3701Nearby, Julie was having a bit of trouble trying to find a good hiding spot. “Ugh! Too small!”

IMG_3703“Too thin!”

IMG_3704“Oh! Perfect!” She announced as she dove behind the stone vase.

IMG_3705After a few minutes of counting, Mimi was finally ready, and so she announced, “Ready or not, here I come!”

IMG_3706Walking as slowly and quietly as she could, Mimi started to walk near where Lizzie lay on the grass. Lizzie held her breath as Mimi came closer and closer, but released it with a laugh when Mimi walked straight pass her.

IMG_3709Next, Mimi went over to the tree where Zig Zag was currently hiding…

IMG_3713Zig Zag turned away and tried to cover himself up with the crinkly leaves, but he didn’t need to. Mimi simply looked both ways, and missed her friend entirely.

IMG_3717Finally, Mimi started to run to where Julie was hiding….and then she ran in the totally wrong direction.

IMG_3719After several attempts to find her friends, Mimi called out, “I give up! You guys are really good at hiding!”

IMG_3722Julie, Zig Zag, and Lizzie quickly came over to where Mimi was standing. “You do know that we were in pretty obvious hiding spots, right?” Zig Zag inquired. “Oh.” Mimi giggled. “Do you want to play again?”

Hope you enjoyed Mimi’s latest photo story!
