Apple White’s Fainting Couch

I love the Ever After High doll line, and was so excited to learn that one of my favorite characters in that line was getting a play set. My parents got me that set, Apple White’s Fainting Couch, as a gift last weekend, and I’ve been using it everyday since then:) It’s very cute and fun to photograph, and I even wrote up a guest review for one of my favorite blogs. You can expect some photos soon!

A World Without Princes Book Trailer

I’ve talked about my School For Good and Evil obsession so many times before, (you can read more about it here, here, and here) but the book trailer for the sequel, A World Without Princes, was recently released, so I couldn’t help but feature it again! The graphics are so cool and it got me super excited for the book–only 15 more days until it comes out:)

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt

I’m a bit obsessed with Pinkberry frozen yogurt and its delicious flavors and toppings, so when I found out that an Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt shop was opening in my town, I wasn’t sure if I would like it as much. I went a couple of weeks ago, got the cookies and cream flavor, and ended up loving it! I’ll definitely be going again soon…

The Muppets Most Wanted

Oh, I can’t wait to see The Muppets Most Wanted! I’m going with friends to see it next weekend, and I’m so excited to hear more cheery songs and funny jokes! It just feels impossible not to be happy when watching a Muppet movie:)

Book Covers

Jessica Day George’s New Book Covers

Jessica Day George is one of my favorite authors, and after the suspenseful cliffhanger in the end of her last book, Wednesdays In The Tower, I’ve been eagerly waiting to find out what will happen to Princess Celie and my other favorite characters. The cover of the next book in that series was released a few days ago, along with the redone covers of her other trilogy, Dragon Slippers. Aren’t they amazing?

Have an awesome week!

Boden’s Sample Sale

Twice a year my sister, mom, and I go to the Boden Sale to snag some adorable deals:) Although the sale can get a bit crazy, it’s always a fun adventure, and I end up with Boden clothes in the end! Seriously what could be better? It’s coming up next week, and my sister, Bella and I are counting down the days.

Saving Mr. Banks

Last Monday, I went to the movies with my dad to see Saving Mr. Banks. I really enjoyed it, and thought the acting was great! The story is also very interesting, and I definitely recommend going to see it. What movies are you excited about?

A little drawing of Anna and Olaf from the wonderful movie Frozen~! Chibird’s Adorable Frozen-Inspired Clipart

Speaking of movies, I went to see Frozen back in November and I loved it, (Even as I write this post I’m listening to “Let It Go”) so I was super excited to see this adorable drawing on Chibird! Anna and Olaf were two of my favorite characters (besides Elsa) and the drawing just made my day:)

Slide2Broken Latter Bracelet

I love to make friendship bracelets, and I have a growing collection in all sorts of patterns and colors. So, during the week I tried to try out a new one called the Broken Ladder, and I think it came out great! I’ll probably do it again with different colors (maybe some yellow and navy?), but I do like the dark purple and bright pink. Hopefully I’ll be able to do a tutorial on  it later in the week!

The 56th Grammy Awards

Finally, I will be tuning in to watch the Grammys tonight on CBS, and I can’t wait to see some of my favorite artists like Taylor Swift and Lorde perform! It’s always fun to hear all of the year’s best music, and to see who’ll win each award.

Lulu’s Love List Of Random Awesomeness!

11 Nov

I hope that you’re having an awesome day! To make it even better, I have a great Love List today!

Pippaloo’s November Release

My sister and I just love Pippaloo’s doll food, and we always look forward to the monthly release! This time around, the theme of the food is for holiday parties, along with a few fun things thrown in! Photos of the food were recently posted on Pippaloo’s website, and my current favorite is the grilled cheese and Gold Fish cracker set.

Blondie LockesBlondie Locks

I am obsessed with the Ever After High doll line, (which is made by Mattel!) It follows the story of the teenage sons and daughters of famous fairytale characters from Snow White to the Evil Queen. I currently own 2 of the six that have been released, but photos of three new dolls (Blondie Locks, C.A. Cupid, and Cerise Hood) have been posted and I can’t wait for the dolls to be released! My favorite so far has to be Blondie Locks (shown above,) who is coming out soon:)

bec1b9ca573a390708c7bd51edebc87dThe Little Mermaid

Tomorrow I’m going to the auditions for my school’s production of the Little Mermaid! I’ve been practicing my audition song all weekend, and I’m super excited! (By the way, isn’t that poster so cool?)

pBBW1-16817677v275Bath and Body Works‘ New Winter Fragrance Line

This month, I’m having a cookie-making party, and for the party favors, I’m giving out hand sanitizers! The one above is my favorite from the new winter line (it has five in all) because it smells so good and it just has a cute design, but the others like Winter Candy Apple and Vanilla Bean are fun too:)

IMG_3949Cookie and Cocoa Swirl Butter

Cookie butter is delicious! My mom, sister, and I were at Trader Joe’s this weekend, and we picked up a jar of Cookie and Cocoa Swirl butter, and I have to say that I loved it! It’s a great topping for apples or graham crackers, and I definitely recommend trying it!

Have an awesome afternoon,

Sophie and Lili Watercolor Sketches

A while ago, my mom ordered some super awesome watercolor portraits of me and my sister four our rooms from the shop, Sophie and Lili, and I have to say that they were pretty cool! The portraits have great color, and simplicity, plus the shop also makes cute toys!

A Question of MagicA Question Of Magic By E.D. Baker

How awesome is this?! Not only is E.D. Baker one of my favorite authors, her new book is coming out in October…just in time for my birthday:) The book has a promising plot, some interesting characters I can’t wait to read about, and it has a purple cover…seriously, what could be better?

shirtGap’s New Halloween T-Shirts

Although it’s a little early, I couldn’t resist putting this adorable shirt on today’s Love List. After getting Gap’s Halloween-themed top last year, I have high hopes for this one…plus it has fun colors, embellishments, and a cute graphic, so I’m very excited!

Two Tone Chocolate TreatsChocolate Crispy Treats with White Chocolate on Top

First of all, how delicious do those look? Second of all, combining crispy treats, chocolate, and of course white chocolate (one of the best foods ever!)-is probably one of the tastiest snack ideas in a while. A few days ago, my sister made a batch, and they’re almost already gone!

What awesome things are you loving this week?

Lulu’s Super Summer Love List!

12 Aug

It’s time for another Love List! Check out my latest summer faves in this fun post…

The slackline might just happen to be one of my new favorite outdoor activities! It’s basically two tight ropes, one of which is just a teaching line to help teach you how to walk across without falling down, (not as easy as it sounds!) Anyways, its super fun, and I go on it almost every day!

Panini Presses

For my mom’s birthday last week, we got her a Panini press and we’ve already tried it out! I have to say that a peanut butter and jelly panini is my favorite so far. I definitely recommend it; it’s very easy to use, and I hope to try out many fun things in the future!

Alpine SlideThe Alpine Slides

Over the weekend, my family headed up to Vermont for a quick getaway, and we ended our trip by heading to the Bromley Adventure Park, and decided to go on the Alpine Slides! After the long wait, (and awful chair lift up) we finally got to go on the slides, and they ended up being super awesome. I would love to go again!

The Vermont Teddy Bear Factory

During my weekend vacation, my family headed to The Vermont Teddy Bear Factory! We went on a tour and got to see it all, plus I got to make my own teddy bear! It was loads of fun, and I love my new bear, Nellie. (Expect to see her in future photo stories!)

The Newport Jazz Festival

Last Saturday, my family and I headed to the Newport Jazz festival for the afternoon, (followed by some delicious ice cream from the Newport Cookie Company!) It was a fun experience and I hope to go again next year, plus I found this cool vintage poster, so I just had to use it.

Slide1Ever After High Dolls

I just noticed that after about two months of looking at the Ever After High Website, and recently getting one of the dolls, that I hadn’t yet featured the line! I figured, what better time to do it than now? Well, the dolls are super cute and I definitely recommend taking a peek at the website.

Monte Carlo

After wanting to see this movie for a while, I FINALLY remembered to put it on hold at the library, and so I’m hoping I get to watch it tonight! I’m oh-so excited. :) Have you seen any fun movies recently?

Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt

I love Pinkberry’s frozen yogurt! All the flavors are so delicious, and I can never decide which toppings I want because there’s so many! It’s a lot of fun to mix them all up, (I like the strawberries and chocolate covered pretzels the most,) and I can’t wait to see which combination I’ll try next! Anyways, next week, the company is  launching a new flavor, Cookies ‘n’ Cream, that I’m eagerly awaiting to try:)

Wednesdays in The Tower!!!!

There’s only 9 days left till the day of Wednesdays in the Tower’s release!!!!!! As many of you know, I’m a very enthusiastic Jessica Day George fan, and Tuesdays at The Castle is one of my favorite books ever, so it makes sense that I’m practically shaking with eagerness for this story! The plot seems to be that Princess Celie discovers a new room in the castle, (no surprise there) and she finds a mysterious egg inside, but she would never have guessed what would hatch out of it…Yay!!! I just can’t wait to find out what happens in Celie’s next adventure, but luckily to keep me busy while I wait, I just found a short holiday story that Jessica Day George wrote about the Castle Glower family!

Yoga Clipart

For a school project, I made a poster about yoga yesterday, and I haven’t actually thought about how interesting it is before now! It dates back over 500 years ago, and there are lots of different types. Plus, there are tons of poses that you can learn and master! I really like doing it because it’s fun, relaxing, good exercise, and it’s challenging at some points, but simple at others!

Good Luck Charlie Season 4 Premiere!

Good Luck Charlie is one of my favorite Disney Shows that’s on right now, and its fourth season is premiering today! I loved the other three seasons, and the acting is awesome, so I look forward to seeing what happens next. In the last season’s finale, the Duncan family’s house was destroyed after being eaten by termites, and it left off with them staying in a hotel. After reading up on spoilers, I learned that the muppets are guest starring, so it’s sure to be an entertaining episode:)

Lulu’s Super Amazing Love List!

15 Apr

Hey! Today I’m doing a short, (but still very awesome!) love list! (Meaning there aren’t that any things, but still a lot of words!)

Whoppie Pies Food For American Girl Dolls Chocolate Cupcakes Food For American Girl Dolls Vanilla Cupcakes Food For American Girl Dolls

Pippaloo’s Homemade American Girl Doll Food!

I love Pippaloo’s adorable food for American Girl Dolls, and I could hardly await for her new release! This collection was made up of cakes and other party treats, that are perfect to use for photo shoots! Most of the food was snagged up in minutes, but I was able to get the cupcakes and whoopie pies shown above:) Aren’t they just so cute? I love the fun rainbow sprinkles on the cupcakes, and the whoopie pies are just plain awesome:)

The Nancy Drew Diaries

The original Nancy Drew Mysteries and Girl Detective books are great, so I was super excited when I learned about this new version of the Nancy Drew books coming out! The first two books follow Nancy and her friends Bess and George on a fancy Alaskan Cruise Ship after Becca, one of Nancy’s close friends who is also the cruise director, enlists her help after several weird happenings occur. Threatening e-mails are sent, a priceless chandelier comes crashing down, and a (fake!) bloody body is discovered in the pool! I loved the first two books, and read them pretty quickly, and I’m eagerly awaiting the release of the next story, The Mystery of the Midnight Rider! (Don’t you think the cover of this book is awesome?)

20,000 Leagues (A 5 Wits Adventure!)

I just went to 5 Wits’s adventure, 20,000 Leagues today! It’s really fun and full of adventure! Based after the book 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, you venture deep into the ocean in an old Victorian submarine that has been lost for hundreds of years! After solving several puzzles and creating a mysterious formula, you have an exciting encounter with a furious sea monster! This was so much fun to go to to! I really enjoyed 5 Wits’s other attraction, Espionage, but I can’t decide which adventure I liked better! The shows (or rides? I don’t really know what to call them) are also really well constructed and have awesome sets and puzzles!

Melody Valerie’s Bloom Collection

I love all of Melody Valerie Couture outfits, and their new dresses are to die for! I love the color palette, (my favorite color being purple, of course!) and the patterns and details are so pretty! My favorite dresses would have to be Lisianthus (the purple floral one) and Snowdrop, (the white one) I love the extra details like the shimmering buttons, wavy lines, delicate polka dots, and dark belts. The necklines are also gorgeous, and I would say that Bloom is an amazing collection of cute dresses!
