Apple White’s Fainting Couch

I love the Ever After High doll line, and was so excited to learn that one of my favorite characters in that line was getting a play set. My parents got me that set, Apple White’s Fainting Couch, as a gift last weekend, and I’ve been using it everyday since then:) It’s very cute and fun to photograph, and I even wrote up a guest review for one of my favorite blogs. You can expect some photos soon!

A World Without Princes Book Trailer

I’ve talked about my School For Good and Evil obsession so many times before, (you can read more about it here, here, and here) but the book trailer for the sequel, A World Without Princes, was recently released, so I couldn’t help but feature it again! The graphics are so cool and it got me super excited for the book–only 15 more days until it comes out:)

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt

I’m a bit obsessed with Pinkberry frozen yogurt and its delicious flavors and toppings, so when I found out that an Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt shop was opening in my town, I wasn’t sure if I would like it as much. I went a couple of weeks ago, got the cookies and cream flavor, and ended up loving it! I’ll definitely be going again soon…

The Muppets Most Wanted

Oh, I can’t wait to see The Muppets Most Wanted! I’m going with friends to see it next weekend, and I’m so excited to hear more cheery songs and funny jokes! It just feels impossible not to be happy when watching a Muppet movie:)

Book Covers

Jessica Day George’s New Book Covers

Jessica Day George is one of my favorite authors, and after the suspenseful cliffhanger in the end of her last book, Wednesdays In The Tower, I’ve been eagerly waiting to find out what will happen to Princess Celie and my other favorite characters. The cover of the next book in that series was released a few days ago, along with the redone covers of her other trilogy, Dragon Slippers. Aren’t they amazing?

Have an awesome week!

Boden’s Sample Sale

Twice a year my sister, mom, and I go to the Boden Sale to snag some adorable deals:) Although the sale can get a bit crazy, it’s always a fun adventure, and I end up with Boden clothes in the end! Seriously what could be better? It’s coming up next week, and my sister, Bella and I are counting down the days.

Saving Mr. Banks

Last Monday, I went to the movies with my dad to see Saving Mr. Banks. I really enjoyed it, and thought the acting was great! The story is also very interesting, and I definitely recommend going to see it. What movies are you excited about?

A little drawing of Anna and Olaf from the wonderful movie Frozen~! Chibird’s Adorable Frozen-Inspired Clipart

Speaking of movies, I went to see Frozen back in November and I loved it, (Even as I write this post I’m listening to “Let It Go”) so I was super excited to see this adorable drawing on Chibird! Anna and Olaf were two of my favorite characters (besides Elsa) and the drawing just made my day:)

Slide2Broken Latter Bracelet

I love to make friendship bracelets, and I have a growing collection in all sorts of patterns and colors. So, during the week I tried to try out a new one called the Broken Ladder, and I think it came out great! I’ll probably do it again with different colors (maybe some yellow and navy?), but I do like the dark purple and bright pink. Hopefully I’ll be able to do a tutorial on  it later in the week!

The 56th Grammy Awards

Finally, I will be tuning in to watch the Grammys tonight on CBS, and I can’t wait to see some of my favorite artists like Taylor Swift and Lorde perform! It’s always fun to hear all of the year’s best music, and to see who’ll win each award.

Sophie and Lili Watercolor Sketches

A while ago, my mom ordered some super awesome watercolor portraits of me and my sister four our rooms from the shop, Sophie and Lili, and I have to say that they were pretty cool! The portraits have great color, and simplicity, plus the shop also makes cute toys!

A Question of MagicA Question Of Magic By E.D. Baker

How awesome is this?! Not only is E.D. Baker one of my favorite authors, her new book is coming out in October…just in time for my birthday:) The book has a promising plot, some interesting characters I can’t wait to read about, and it has a purple cover…seriously, what could be better?

shirtGap’s New Halloween T-Shirts

Although it’s a little early, I couldn’t resist putting this adorable shirt on today’s Love List. After getting Gap’s Halloween-themed top last year, I have high hopes for this one…plus it has fun colors, embellishments, and a cute graphic, so I’m very excited!

Two Tone Chocolate TreatsChocolate Crispy Treats with White Chocolate on Top

First of all, how delicious do those look? Second of all, combining crispy treats, chocolate, and of course white chocolate (one of the best foods ever!)-is probably one of the tastiest snack ideas in a while. A few days ago, my sister made a batch, and they’re almost already gone!

What awesome things are you loving this week?

Lulu’s Super Summer Love List!

12 Aug

It’s time for another Love List! Check out my latest summer faves in this fun post…

The slackline might just happen to be one of my new favorite outdoor activities! It’s basically two tight ropes, one of which is just a teaching line to help teach you how to walk across without falling down, (not as easy as it sounds!) Anyways, its super fun, and I go on it almost every day!

Panini Presses

For my mom’s birthday last week, we got her a Panini press and we’ve already tried it out! I have to say that a peanut butter and jelly panini is my favorite so far. I definitely recommend it; it’s very easy to use, and I hope to try out many fun things in the future!

Alpine SlideThe Alpine Slides

Over the weekend, my family headed up to Vermont for a quick getaway, and we ended our trip by heading to the Bromley Adventure Park, and decided to go on the Alpine Slides! After the long wait, (and awful chair lift up) we finally got to go on the slides, and they ended up being super awesome. I would love to go again!

The Vermont Teddy Bear Factory

During my weekend vacation, my family headed to The Vermont Teddy Bear Factory! We went on a tour and got to see it all, plus I got to make my own teddy bear! It was loads of fun, and I love my new bear, Nellie. (Expect to see her in future photo stories!)

The Newport Jazz Festival

Last Saturday, my family and I headed to the Newport Jazz festival for the afternoon, (followed by some delicious ice cream from the Newport Cookie Company!) It was a fun experience and I hope to go again next year, plus I found this cool vintage poster, so I just had to use it.

Slide1Ever After High Dolls

I just noticed that after about two months of looking at the Ever After High Website, and recently getting one of the dolls, that I hadn’t yet featured the line! I figured, what better time to do it than now? Well, the dolls are super cute and I definitely recommend taking a peek at the website.

Monte Carlo

After wanting to see this movie for a while, I FINALLY remembered to put it on hold at the library, and so I’m hoping I get to watch it tonight! I’m oh-so excited. :) Have you seen any fun movies recently?

Lulu’s Entertainment-Filled Love List!

15 Mar

Alex Vs. Alex, The Wizards Return! Okay, so Wizards of Waverly Place was one of the best Disney shows, and I was so sad when it ended! When I heard that the cast was coming back together to make a special hour-long movie, I was super excited, and have now been waiting for a while to see it! It premieres tonight, are you going to be watching it?

This Adorable Mickey Mouse Video!!  Minnie and Mickey are pretty awesome, and this short is so cute:) Minnie runs out of croissants for her adorable cafe, so she looks to Mickey for help, and he has to rush through the busy streets to get the bread to her:) The drawings are playful, and the scenery is beautiful! I definitely recommend watching it:)

Wordgirl March Enemy Week, is a really good (it has won awards!) show, and this week was called March Enemy Week, (get the play on words?) I watched some this week and really enjoyed it!

My Summer of Pink and Green Lisa Greenwald is a really amazing author, and I loved her book, My Life in Pink and Green. I have been waiting and waiting for this to come out, and it will be soon! (March 19th) I also really like the cover design, how about you?

TV Spots From Oz The Great And Powerful Celebrate New Year’s Eve on http://www.shockya.com/news

Oz the Great and Powerful The whole Wizard of Oz story is so mystical and whimsical, but the Wizard’s story hasn’t been focused on very much. The set looks really cool in this movie from what I’ve seen in the previews, and so do the costumes. I am hoping to catch it Easter Weekend, what movies do you want to see?
