My Top Ten Favorite Quotes from Holiday Specials

21 Dec

Slide01Since Christmas is so soon and I’ve been watching all of my favorite holiday specials and movies, I decided to make a list of my top ten favorite quotes from them! Enjoy…

Slide02This year, my family got Prep and Landing on DVD, which I’m very happy about because it’s just so cute and funny! My favorite line is by Lanny the Elf, “This is so tinsel!”

Slide03What is there really to say about this quote? It’s just so awesome!

Slide04Let me just say that Buddy the Elf rocks, and that this line is completely true:)

Slide05Even though this quote creates a few problems for Frosty the Snowman, it still always makes me laugh because of the goofy way the character says it!

Slide06Oh, I love the Polar Express! My family watches it every year on Christmas Eve, and I’m super excited to see it again. :)

Slide07Yes, Virginia is such a cute Christmas special, and I love watching it every year. This quote sums up all of it’s awesomeness for me!

Slide08Seriously, who wouldn’t want to have a cup of hot cocoa with the Kringle’s?

Slide09My favorite part of A Charlie Brown Christmas is when all the kids realize the tree that Charlie Brown picked out wasn’t so bad after all, and this quote sums up the entire scene for me.

Slide10I die of cuteness overload every time Cindy Lu Who says this…

Slide11Yes Rudolph, yes you are.

Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt

I love Pinkberry’s frozen yogurt! All the flavors are so delicious, and I can never decide which toppings I want because there’s so many! It’s a lot of fun to mix them all up, (I like the strawberries and chocolate covered pretzels the most,) and I can’t wait to see which combination I’ll try next! Anyways, next week, the company is  launching a new flavor, Cookies ‘n’ Cream, that I’m eagerly awaiting to try:)

Wednesdays in The Tower!!!!

There’s only 9 days left till the day of Wednesdays in the Tower’s release!!!!!! As many of you know, I’m a very enthusiastic Jessica Day George fan, and Tuesdays at The Castle is one of my favorite books ever, so it makes sense that I’m practically shaking with eagerness for this story! The plot seems to be that Princess Celie discovers a new room in the castle, (no surprise there) and she finds a mysterious egg inside, but she would never have guessed what would hatch out of it…Yay!!! I just can’t wait to find out what happens in Celie’s next adventure, but luckily to keep me busy while I wait, I just found a short holiday story that Jessica Day George wrote about the Castle Glower family!

Yoga Clipart

For a school project, I made a poster about yoga yesterday, and I haven’t actually thought about how interesting it is before now! It dates back over 500 years ago, and there are lots of different types. Plus, there are tons of poses that you can learn and master! I really like doing it because it’s fun, relaxing, good exercise, and it’s challenging at some points, but simple at others!

Good Luck Charlie Season 4 Premiere!

Good Luck Charlie is one of my favorite Disney Shows that’s on right now, and its fourth season is premiering today! I loved the other three seasons, and the acting is awesome, so I look forward to seeing what happens next. In the last season’s finale, the Duncan family’s house was destroyed after being eaten by termites, and it left off with them staying in a hotel. After reading up on spoilers, I learned that the muppets are guest starring, so it’s sure to be an entertaining episode:)

Alex Vs. Alex, The Wizards Return-A TV Show Episode Review

21 Mar

Selena Gomez as Alex

Jake T. Austin as Max

Jennifer Stone as Harper

Gregg Sulkin as Mason

David Deluise as Jerry

Maria Canals Barrera as Theresa

Beau Mirchoff as Dominic

After Alex Russo became the family wizard, she thought everything would go on smoothly…not so much. Her family keeps trying to pressure her to be more mature and grow up after the endless mischief caused by her magic. So before a family reunion in Italy, Alex decides to use magic to separate the good and bad parts of herself, and ends up creating a Good Alex and a Bad Alex. Soon, she is caught up in an evil young wizard’s scheme to rule the whole world, and to destroy all mortals. Alex must save her friends and family, along with the rest of the world, all atop the Leaning Tower of Pisa, while facing herself!

My Thoughts: Wizards of Waverly Place was by far my favorite Disney show! I was so sad when it ended, but I eagerly awaited this hour-long special! The plot definitely reminded me of the episode in the Wizards of Waverly Place TV series, “Positive Alex.” This awesome episode is full of stunts and lots of special effects. The magic in this is very different from the bright spark of colors in the actual TV series, but was very well done with the slow movement of the colors all blended together. The big battle scene between the two Alexs (I don’t really know how to make her name plural!) was outstanding, and I thought it was funny how every time Alex defeated herself, her bad side would just come back! It was complete with a big shock, (but I’m not going to tell you what it is!) that is sure to surprise you, (don’t worry, it all works out:)) Also, the Villa in Italy’s set was also very well-designed:) The costumes in this were just as cool as in the TV show! Harper’s outfits are always very outrageous and silly, but make her character fun! Bad Alex’s “taking over the world outfit” reminded me of some of the classic Disney villains rolled into one, with a twist. I do think though, that it could have been more of a movie’s-length than just one hour. Moving on to the exceptional acting… Selena Gomez played her fun, full of jokes character Alex, who always can seem to make you laugh. Alex was just as likable in the special, and her magical mishaps are just as funny! David DeLuise and Maria Canals-Barrera have so many short jokes, but are always full of laughter! Jennifer Stone also did a great job as Harper, who’s always funny. There was a great cast, and I give this special three and a half stars out of five!

Lulu’s Entertainment-Filled Love List!

Alex Vs. Alex, The Wizards Return! Okay, so Wizards of Waverly Place was one of the best Disney shows, and I was so sad when it ended! When I heard that the cast was coming back together to make a special hour-long movie, I was super excited, and have now been waiting for a while to see it! It premieres tonight, are you going to be watching it?

This Adorable Mickey Mouse Video!!  Minnie and Mickey are pretty awesome, and this short is so cute:) Minnie runs out of croissants for her adorable cafe, so she looks to Mickey for help, and he has to rush through the busy streets to get the bread to her:) The drawings are playful, and the scenery is beautiful! I definitely recommend watching it:)

Wordgirl March Enemy Week, is a really good (it has won awards!) show, and this week was called March Enemy Week, (get the play on words?) I watched some this week and really enjoyed it!

My Summer of Pink and Green Lisa Greenwald is a really amazing author, and I loved her book, My Life in Pink and Green. I have been waiting and waiting for this to come out, and it will be soon! (March 19th) I also really like the cover design, how about you?

TV Spots From Oz The Great And Powerful Celebrate New Year’s Eve on http://www.shockya.com/news

Oz the Great and Powerful The whole Wizard of Oz story is so mystical and whimsical, but the Wizard’s story hasn’t been focused on very much. The set looks really cool in this movie from what I’ve seen in the previews, and so do the costumes. I am hoping to catch it Easter Weekend, what movies do you want to see?
